Jason Erkes, president

If you are up against team "El Presidente" that's Jason's team! Don't let the title fool you and he won't be offended if you demand a recount of the score. He's been President of the Sport and Social Club for over 7 years and loves what he does. His personal passion is more about politics than sports but he is happy to discuss anything so please go up if you see him and give him your thoughts - good or bad. Check out Jason featured in Crain's Chicago Magazine, his monthly column in Today's Chicago Women Magazine about sports & recreation and other press features about the Sport and Social Club.

Chris Hastings, vice president

The Sport and Social Club VP has been with the Club since '97 when he was an intern working Beach Volleyball at North Avenue Beach. One summer of playing in the sand and getting paid for it was enough to hook Chris on the idea of working in Coed Sports Leagues for a career - YES IT'S A FULL-TIME JOB! If you have suggestions about programming you'd like us to offer or improvements you would like to see give Chris a call or an e-mail.

Brian Irving, league manager

Resident "Bracketologist" and man behind the scenes. If you have signed up for or played in one of our leagues you have come across his artistry and work in registration and scheduling. A member of the social club family since '96 he has seen and heard it all, so make sure and sign up on time. If you want to talk Blue Demon hoops or get a lunch recommendation he is your man.

Amy Battas, marketing and events

Amy's that small town girl that you feel like you've known forever! Amy's been a member of the Social Club staff since 2003 and holds her own in an office full of men! You can find Amy playing volleyball on the beach or in the ring taking boxing fitness during the week and of course on the dance floor at our parties on the weekends! Amy is the Marketing and Event Coordinator for the Sport and Social Club so if you have an event idea or if you're interested in bringing your party to one of ours be sure to send her an email or give her a call and if you see her with a camera - be sure to smile for the website!

Curtis Griffin, league operations

Curtis is your league man! He is a league coordinator along with Marko Milanovic and can be seen in pinstripes refereeing hoops during the week. If he's not on the courts he's out on the fields umpiring your leagues or hanging out at the sponsor bars! You can also find Curtis at most of the social events running around with the camera or trying to keep Amy under control!

Jeff Sampson, league coordinator

Born at a very young age, Jeff grew up on the tough streets of suburban Orlando, Florida. When he is not working the leagues, he is cheering for his favorite sports teams, the Orlando Magic and the Cubs. Some of Jeff’s talents include: the ability to provide name and artist of almost any 80’s song, or destroying Marko at FIFA. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to referee or umpire any sport or would simply like to get involved as a part-time staff member, contact Jeff; as he takes care of all of our staffing needs.

Marko Milanovic, league coordinator

As a member of the social club staff since 2002, Marko has been there and done that. If you haven’t seen him at your basketball, softball, dodgeball, kickball, or football league, then you certainly have seen him at one of our social events. While he might be getting his butt kicked by Jeff in a classic three-point shootout, he definitely redeems himself on the football field. As operations manager, Marko ensures that your league is being run properly. If there are any equipment problems at your league, shoot Marko an e-mail and let him have it!!!
