by Kelly Taylor 09/03/08 11:35 am The first Volleyball Vacation I attended was in 2002. Since then I have gone on Albert Hannemann's trips annually and even managed to squeeze in two during one year. If time and money allowed I would go on all the trips because I always have an awesome time! I've been to Club Med in Cancun and found it to be a kick-ass venue. The beach is really nice, clear warm waters, and the facilities have been beefed up through millions of dollars of renovations. Whenever anyone asks me about a Volleyball Vacation the only way I can describe it is this: I play beach volleyball from sun-up to sun-down, drink till the sun-comes back up, and repeat for 6 days! And I LOVE it!!! But hey, that's just me and how I spend my vacation. What do you want from me, it's an open bar ;) If this isn't you, well keep in mind that you can take advantage of all the resorts activities (while I'm drinking) as well. And the best part is Volleyball Vacations has teamed up with Unique Sports Vacations (USV) to offer the ultimate in sports vacationing! Choose your sports passion and your likely to find it on a USV trip. That's exactly what this Cancun vacation is all about! And of course, it's all about what you make it. I've met a ton of great people on these trips, from all over the world and I still keep in contact with them. Not everyone parties like a rock star (like me) but you can if you want. And if you'd rather enjoy a quiet nite on the beach in a gazeebo under the stars then hey, that's all you! The point is, there's something for everyone on these trips and it's all wrapped up in one nice little package called USV!! Unfortunately for me I can't go on this particular trip as I have that thing called a job that gets in the way. But I was there last year and I will be there again as soon as I can!
